First Week (9-12 to 9-16)
The first few days have started off great in all of our science classes. I look forward to a successful year for all.
In sixth grade, we will begin our discussions about the nature of science. We will be analyzing a magazine article later in the week. Therefore, please be sure to bring your science magazine article to class with you on Thursday the 15th.
In seventh grade, we will begin our study of plate tectonics. We will be conducting a lab in which we see how heating of a fluid causes it to move.
Finally, in eigth grade, we will begin our atmosphere lessons. We will be analyzing sunscreens to determine various characteristics of them. Please be sure to bring your sunscreen with you to class on Wednesday the 14th.
